Technician, Telecommunications

Location: Onsite at the Mohawk Building AR Bentonville Home Office, 301 SE J St, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Hourly wage: $21.00–$40.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Oversee telecommunications project installations and timelines with construction and store planning teams.
• Conduct wireless surveys, validate connectivity, and adjust system components to improve network availability.
• Assist with cabling and telecommunications system implementation in compliance with technical codes and standards.
• Inspect supplier installations, perform quality checks, and report contract compliance issues.
• Provide onsite training and troubleshooting support to technicians.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with data network connectivity.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications systems in complex environments.
• Knowledge of federal building codes, the National Electric Code, FCC regulations, and environmental standards.
• Ability to conduct wireless surveys and validate network connectivity.
• Experience with quality assurance inspections and supplier or contract compliance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience supervising associates.
• Driver's license.
