Senior Project Scheduler

Location: Full-time, long-term, on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona, United States.

Salary: $120,000–$190,000 per year ($57–$91 per hour).

What you will do

• Build and maintain integrated CPM schedules from design through project turnover, including logic links, resource or cost loading, and cost-control coding.
• Collect field progress data and produce regular updates, look-aheads, variance reports, earned-value forecasts, Gantt charts, S-curves, and KPI dashboards.
• Analyze critical paths, sequencing options, recovery plans, and alternative delivery scenarios.
• Integrate permitting, utility relocations, third-party interfaces, and long-lead procurement dependencies into project schedules.
• Assess schedule risks, quantify exposure using Monte Carlo simulations or similar methods, and track mitigation actions.
• Support change orders and claims with Time Impact Analyses, enforce schedule governance, maintain data integrity, and mentor junior schedulers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on scheduling experience on large, complex heavy-civil projects exceeding $500 million.
• Experience with CPM baseline development, resource or cost loading, progress updates, variance analysis, and schedule-risk assessment.
• Experience preparing Time Impact Analyses and interpreting project scope, drawings, constraints, and dependencies to create sequenced, resource-aware schedules.
• Proficiency with project and construction management software such as Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project, Bluebeam, or RSMeans, plus risk tools such as Primavera Risk, Deltek Acumen Fuse, or @Risk.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous-improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• Active PSP, PMI-SP, PMP, or CCM certification.
• Hands-on experience with large, complex heavy-civil airport projects.
