Project Scheduler - Aviation

Location: Onsite in Los Angeles, California, at the LAX office or project site. Monday-Friday full-time schedule; after-hours or weekend work may be required.

Salary: $91,976.90–$105,116.46 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain detailed construction planning schedules for terminal development, airport service improvement, terminal improvement, and asset renewal projects.
• Schedule multiple interdependent projects within a large-scale owner’s program and project controls team.
• Review designer and contractor schedule submissions, including baseline, look-ahead, monthly update, recovery, time impact, time extension, and as-built schedules.
• Coordinate interface issues between concurrent projects and ensure compliance with LAWA project and activity coding structures.
• Analyze contractor delay claims, disruption, acceleration, recovery opportunities, and potential owner liabilities using accepted forensic scheduling practices.
• Prepare reports and briefing materials and communicate schedule findings to technical teams, management, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–5 years or more of scheduling experience on active construction projects.
• Direct forensic scheduling and claims-analysis experience on complex projects valued at $200M or more and lasting three years or longer.
• Advanced Oracle Primavera P6 use required, with experience using related schedule-analysis tools such as Schedule Analyzer, Microsoft Project, and Claims Digger.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR, and Design/Build delivery methods and multiple concurrent, interrelated projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field required.
• This is not a work-from-home position; onsite work at LAX is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Prior aviation and large transportation project experience.
• Relevant professional licensure and certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
