Data Product Implementation Lead (Data Governance)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time, onsite role. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $95,600–$162,400 USD per year, plus a discretionary bonus program and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Develop tools and processes that maintain common data standards across the organization.
• Define and implement data management standards, controls, and common data dictionaries.
• Lead data governance compliance reviews, assessments, monitoring, and control testing.
• Coordinate data quality remediation efforts and improve the consistency and reliability of decision-making data.
• Resolve conflicting priorities among data owners, consumers, and custodians.
• Work cross-functionally to balance business value, quality, risk, cost, and data architecture needs.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data governance and the ability to communicate it to business and technical stakeholders.
• Broad knowledge of domain data and the business drivers of teams that enter, modify, manage, and consume it.
• Experience defining and implementing data quality management practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven facilitation, conflict resolution, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship is required.
