Lead Data Strategist (Data Analytics)

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; employees must be available to work onsite at a client location or hirify.global office as requested, with remote work available when compatible with client and company needs.

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 base pay per year.

What you will do

• Advise client technology and business leaders on data and analytics strategy, management, architecture, and delivery.
• Turn ambiguous business concepts into actionable insights and maximize the value of organizational data.
• Develop strategic plans to improve data integration, quality, delivery, governance, and alignment with business roadmaps.
• Assess data management technologies and formulate architectural trade-offs before recommending solutions.
• Support business development by envisioning solutions, estimating work plans, and recommending delivery team composition.
• Lead, coach, and mentor consultants while managing multiple client engagements and internal initiatives.

Requirements

• 14+ years of experience leading large technical teams and projects.
• 10+ years implementing on-premises and cloud data management platforms and technologies.
• Experience assessing traditional and modern data architectures in a consultative, business-focused manner.
• Delivery experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, with experience in modern data stack technologies.
• Deep experience integrating and transforming diverse data sources, including real-time data distribution, NoSQL, and data warehousing platforms.
• At least 5 years of scoping technical engagements within consulting services.
