Business Experience Planning Advisor - Customer Data Forensics (Customer Data)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Tysons Corner, VA; or Washington, DC, United States

Salary: $70,000–$156,000 base salary per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Define and align enterprise customer data concepts, business glossaries, critical data elements, metadata, and data strategy roadmaps.
• Profile, monitor, and improve customer data quality through rules, thresholds, reconciliations, validation controls, and root-cause analysis.
• Partner with analytics and data science teams to create analytically ready datasets, reusable customer features, and reliable model inputs.
• Enable segmentation, targeting, personalization, credit and marketing decisioning, and next-best-action solutions.
• Support data governance, audit readiness, regulatory controls, risk reporting, and evidence management.
• Define requirements for MDM, enterprise data solutions, APIs, data lakes, trusted data products, lineage, and data contracts while mentoring analysts and data stewards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Experience with customer data management, data quality, governance, root-cause analysis, and remediation leadership.
• Experience translating business needs into data requirements, datasets, features, KPIs, and decision solutions.
• SQL proficiency and experience with data lake or data warehouse environments.
• Must work in-office in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Tysons Corner, or Washington, DC; employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with MDM, customer identity resolution, probabilistic matching, or householding.
• Familiarity with Collibra, Alation, Archer, GRC, data cataloging, and lineage platforms.
• Experience with regulatory programs, MRAs, audit readiness, control evidence, financial services data, experimentation, segmentation, or champion/challenger testing.
