Assistant Branch Manager (Automotive Recycling)

Location: Onsite at 2905 Bd Saint-Michel, Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. Permanent full-time schedule to be discussed; availability for one weekend out of every two is required.

Salary: Competitive salary plus annual bonus.

Kenny U-Pull is an automotive recycling business and a division of American Iron & Metal, operating recycling centers across Canada and supporting a greener used-vehicle market.

What you will do

• Supervise employees and participate directly in daily branch operations, including outdoor, physical, and dirty work.
• Coordinate scheduling and help achieve sales and production targets.
• Promote a welcoming and safe workplace and enforce environmental and Health & Safety procedures.
• Support monthly Health & Safety audits, internal communications, business processes, and organizational change initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly performance evaluations with the Branch Manager and assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee integration.
• Handle administrative duties including cash deposits, payroll, and schedules.

Requirements

• At least three years of customer service experience.
• At least one year of management experience.
• College or university degree.
• Ability to empower employees, delegate tasks, follow up, and prioritize work effectively.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with problem-solving, collaboration, and empathy.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail or the automotive sector.
• French and English bilingualism.
