Director, Health and Wellness - Regional Operations (Eastern)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; regular travel within the assigned region is required.

What you will do

• Lead Pharmacy and Vision Care Operations teams across a regional portfolio of stores.
• Set expectations for field merchandise strategies, operational processes, brand standards, and customer experience.
• Use data, KPIs, and operational insights to identify performance gaps, determine root causes, and implement corrective action plans.
• Manage regional business and financial performance, including sales, prescription growth, profitability, operating income, productivity, shrink, and market share.
• Coach and develop store leaders, strengthen leadership capabilities, and build succession pipelines.
• Partner with store leaders, cross-functional teams, and regional leadership to execute business strategies and organizational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, healthcare administration, pharmacy operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit retail, pharmacy, healthcare, or operations management.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing managers across multiple locations.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills, including KPI analysis and P&L interpretation.
• Experience with operational assessments, standardized processes, compliance requirements, continuous improvement, and change management.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and operational reporting skills.

• Experience in pharmacy, healthcare retail, or another highly regulated retail environment.
• Experience leading large geographic regions with multiple locations and diverse teams.
• Success improving market share, customer experience, and business performance through strategic operational initiatives.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, succession management, and career development programs.
