Operations Manager (Automotive)

Location: Vars, Ontario, Canada

Annual salary: CAD 77,318–90,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Target bonus: CAD 11,597.70–13,500.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations across the vehicle logistics center, including mechanical, detailing, lot operations, maintenance, inspections, and security or stock-in.
• Support profitability, growth, efficiency, safety, and consistent customer satisfaction across VLC operations.
• Hire, train, coach, assign work, prioritize workloads, and monitor output for quality and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate auction-day execution, vehicle staging, troubleshooting, and technical support needs.
• Maintain accurate production reporting in VTrace, AMS, and GDC, and respond to portal and internal requests.
• Manage customer relationships, service discussions, claims escalations, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of operations and management experience.
• Strong business acumen and experience with process and system development.
• Experience managing financial and operational performance, controllable expenses, KPIs, and profitability.
• Ability to lead teams, improve operational processes, and maintain compliance with corporate and industry safety standards.

Nice to have

• Experience in the auction or automotive industry.
• Experience using Google Suite.
