Branch Manager II

Location: Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada; year-round indoor and outdoor work with approximately 10% travel

Salary: CAD 86,260–110,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the overall performance, profitability, sales, customer service, and daily operations of a large branch.
• Plan and oversee auctions, pre-auction activities, refurbishment operations, and branch process improvements.
• Manage regional financial activities, including budgets, cost control, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and capital assets.
• Lead, coach, mentor, onboard, and develop employees while managing performance, succession planning, compensation, hiring, and personnel issues.
• Maintain customer relationships, resolve service issues, and collaborate with sales and operational business units.
• Promote workplace safety, maintain licenses and permits, and ensure compliance with company policies and 5-Star criteria.

Requirements

• At least four years of operations experience and experience managing employees at multiple levels.
• Strong leadership, coaching, change management, communication, prioritization, and business planning skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, business processes, operations management principles, and budgets.
• Experience or knowledge of trucks, equipment, and general mechanical systems.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal English communication skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round, climb on and off large construction equipment, work overtime and weekends around auction dates, travel approximately 10%, and hold a valid driver's license with a clean record.
