Senior Superintendent - Aviation (Construction)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $135,000–$219,000 per year, depending on location, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Lead field execution across site access, scheduling, deliveries, logistics, safety, quality, and construction from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop detailed project schedules, weekly field updates, phasing plans, and logistics plans for active and potential projects.
• Manage multiple large or complex projects while supervising internal field teams, trade partners, and owner vendors.
• Coordinate plans and specifications with architects and engineers and maintain accurate field document control.
• Resolve on-site challenges proactively while minimizing schedule and cost impact.
• Support business development, client relationships, interviews, training, and mentoring of field personnel.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing commercial interiors and/or aviation fit-out projects.
• Experience with field operations, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
• Strong construction trades background and technical knowledge, with proficiency in scheduling software.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and the ability to maintain a strong safety culture.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including interaction with high-end clients.
• References, a resume, and a project list are required.
