Regional Sales Manager (CPG/Foodservice)

Location: Fully remote within the USA; preferred geography is California or Phoenix, Arizona. The role covers Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, and Colorado and requires 50% travel.

Salary: $117,600–$161,700 annual base salary, plus potential additional compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day relationships with Pacific and regional distributors, including distributor sales representatives, category management, procurement, and operations leaders.
• Drive distribution growth, item placement, new item sell-in, distribution gap closure, and distributor sales representative ride-alongs.
• Execute joint business plans, translate annual plans into market activity, track commitments, and escalate performance gaps.
• Lead regional trade event execution and post-event reconciliation with North America Sales Operations.
• Coordinate broker priorities, operator-pull-through engagements, food shows, and joint distributor-operator activities.
• Build the new distribution pipeline, identify whitespace opportunities, maintain CRM and reporting accuracy, and provide regular forecasts on pipeline, distribution, promotions, and customer risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–8 years of progressive commercial or distributor-facing experience in CPG or foodservice.
• Experience with regional distributors is strongly preferred.
• Fully remote role based in the USA, with preferred geography in California or Phoenix, Arizona.
• Ability to travel 50% across WA, OR, CA, AZ, and CO.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with regional broadline distributors at the DSR, category management, and regional procurement levels.
• Track record of distribution growth, item sell-in, and joint business plan execution.
• Strong selling fundamentals, including opportunity identification, distributor engagement, joint planning, and execution discipline.
• Experience working across regional accountability and national distributor contracts.
• Cross-functional experience with Sales Operations, Finance, R&D, and Marketing.
