Production Supervisor (Manufacturing) – Weekend Nights

Location: Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, United States; on-site. Weekend night schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

hirify.global develops solutions for electrical, lighting, data networking, and energy management applications. This role supports Berk-Tek, a hirify.global company, in fiber network cable manufacturing.

What you will do

• Coordinate resources and supervise scheduled manufacturing while meeting volume, labor, scrap, quality, safety, and budget requirements.
• Investigate system and process problems, perform root cause analysis and 8D activities, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan parts supply, maintenance tasks, safety procedures, and service schedules for manufacturing equipment.
• Track production goals and daily metrics, analyze shortfalls, and remove obstacles to meeting targets.
• Hire, train, schedule, assign, and evaluate production employees while enforcing company policies and operating procedures.
• Audit preventive maintenance, in-process checks, changeovers, 5S organization, scrap, production boards, bills of material, and WIP inventory while driving process improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least five years of manufacturing experience and two years of supervisory experience.
• Leadership, tactical supervision, delegation, communication, and independent decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, automation, and work-cell manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Working knowledge of Lean and ergonomic concepts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; a two-year associate degree is preferred.
