Production Supervisor (Electronics Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, train, and develop production personnel to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate daily manufacturing activities, staffing plans, resource allocation, shift meetings, production schedules, and customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor productivity, throughput, labor efficiency, scrap, yield, downtime, on-time delivery, and employee engagement metrics.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues and support customer commitments.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, audits, process improvements, and accurate production reporting.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.
• 3–5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading production teams and achieving operational performance goals.
• Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, production workflows, quality systems, IPC standards, ESD requirements, and manufacturing best practices.
• Ability to analyze production data, perform root-cause analysis, solve problems, manage competing priorities, and build cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to stand and walk through a manufacturing facility for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 35 pounds, and work flexible schedules as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, SMT, testing, or related high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Lean Manufacturing Certification or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• APICS/CPIM or IPC Certification.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
