What you will do

• Coordinate and direct daily production activities on the manufacturing floor.
• Analyze production documents, determine requirements, and plan work schedules.
• Coordinate operations between departments with other supervisors.
• Maintain records covering employee time, production output, and costs.
• Prepare shift-performance reports and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Request materials, equipment parts, supplies, and repair services as needed while ensuring policy compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Ability to build successful teams through trust, communicate effectively, and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to quality details, and decision-making ability.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing facility with extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb, stoop, walk, and sit for prolonged periods.

Nice to have

• Education beyond the high school diploma or GED.
• Leadership training courses.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Depending on the assigned area: RCRA, DOT, HVAC, or 608 Universal Refrigerant certification.
