Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Miamisburg, Ohio, USA. Third shift: 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

What you will do

• Lead third-shift operations for custom printing, encoding, and finishing of labels and tags on flexographic equipment.
• Supervise employees and manage performance reviews, promotions, training, work assignments, schedules, timekeeping, overtime, and vacation records.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, on-time delivery, training, and cost-reduction objectives.
• Monitor capacity, labor, tools, and equipment utilization while responding to unforeseen operating conditions.
• Maintain quality-control processes, conduct business audits, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Lead 5S, housekeeping, recycling, safety, and waste-reduction initiatives in collaboration with other functional areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a relevant college degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of operations experience in manufacturing, preferably including direct leadership experience.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives across safety, cost, quality, training, inventory, and service metrics.
• Ability to manage, coach, and develop a diverse team performing varied manufacturing tasks.
• Technical ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve quality and productivity issues with minimal off-shift support.

Nice to have

• Flexographic printing experience.
• Experience with ELS Operating Principles.
• College degree in an applicable field.
