Production Supervisor - Powder Coating (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Coordinate and direct daily production activities to support efficient manufacturing.
• Analyze production documents, determine requirements, and plan work schedules.
• Collaborate with supervisors across departments to coordinate operations.
• Maintain records of employee time, production output, and costs, and prepare shift-performance reports.
• Implement measures to motivate employees, improve production methods and equipment performance, and enhance product quality.
• Request materials, supplies, equipment parts, and repair services as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education is advantageous.
• Preferred 3–5 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to quality detail, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build a successful team through trust and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing facility with extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged periods of climbing, stooping, walking, and sitting.

Nice to have

• Leadership training courses.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Depending on the assigned area: RCRA, DOT, HVAC, and/or 608 Universal Refrigerant certification.
