Powder Coat Painter

Location: Alexandria, Minnesota, USA; onsite day-shift position. Work hours are Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; Friday overtime may be required. Employment eligibility in the United States is verified through E-Verify.

Base hourly range: $20–$25 per hour.

What you will do

• Set up and operate powder coat painting equipment with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and paint parts, applying the required materials and finishes.
• Coordinate the racking of finished parts with the materials team.
• Read and understand blueprints, accept assigned jobs, and complete them within reasonable timeframes.
• Maintain equipment, repair it when needed, and ensure respiratory devices are in working order.
• Keep the work area clean, follow safety and disposal standards, and support lean manufacturing and world-class checkout processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Familiarity with powder coat painting, material preparation, and finishes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to maintain schedules and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach; one year of experience is preferred.
