Senior Developer Software (Java Backend)

Location: Bengaluru, India; hybrid work with in-person attendance at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance Java backend services and microservices for a fraud platform.
• Contribute to scalable, reliable, maintainable system designs and integrate fraud point solutions into the broader platform.
• Build cloud-native solutions and modernize existing applications using established architectural guidelines.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical problems while improving performance, scalability, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, DevOps, platform, and cross-functional teams on delivery and deployment.
• Review code, troubleshoot production issues, mentor junior engineers, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in backend or service-oriented application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, API design, and distributed systems.
• Practical experience with cloud-native development on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, Git, Maven or Gradle, and build and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL systems, and messaging or event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.
