Sr. Staff Software Development Engineer, Data Collection (Java)

Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai, India; hybrid schedule with 4 days working from the office each week

What you will do

• Build and deliver cloud-based platform and service solutions through hands-on software development.
• Explore new technologies, validate assumptions, and identify technical risks and solution options.
• Define, measure, and continuously evaluate non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Document technical designs and collaborate with architects, engineers, product managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Design and deliver end-to-end initiatives, including well-designed, testable, and efficient reference implementations.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and promote architecture standards across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development or engineering experience, including 6+ years with Java or a similar object-oriented language.
• 4+ years of microservices development experience and practical knowledge of service-oriented and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud architecture, AWS and/or GCP, Spring Boot or Spring Framework, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, RESTful APIs, JSON, and JWT.
• Strong technical communication, problem-solving, Agile collaboration, end-to-end delivery, and cross-team technical leadership skills.
