Senior Clinical Informatics Sales Specialist (Genomics)

Location: Remote, Southern California, United States

Salary: $98,400–$147,600 base salary per year, plus eligible bonus or commission and potential equity.

What you will do

• Drive customer adoption and sales growth for clinical informatics products.
• Provide technical guidance on NGS data analysis, interpretation, cloud workflows, pipelines, and clinical applications.
• Consult with customers on informatics requirements, including hardware, software, LIMS, and application-specific solutions.
• Conduct advanced presentations, seminars, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept analyses.
• Partner with third-party providers and internal sales teams to deliver end-to-end solutions for clinical and research laboratories.
• Develop the sales pipeline, provide customer feedback to product and marketing teams, and train the broader sales organization as a clinical informatics subject-matter expert.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a master's degree, including direct sales or comparable customer-facing experience.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting sequencing data, including variant calling, filtering, annotation, interpretation, and reporting.
• Deep expertise in clinical informatics, bioinformatics, or a related field, with knowledge of clinical sequencing applications, data formats, file types, and analysis methods.
• Experience with NGS software toolkits, applications, pipelines, algorithms, and emerging enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of relevant cloud services, providers, and basic pricing models.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% and ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed sales organization.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Clinical Data Analysis, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Biochemistry.
