Technician (Equipment Repair)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States — retail shop. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with occasional on-site service for equipment and customers.

What you will do

• Repair, refurbish, and maintain engine-driven welding equipment and generators.
• Restore electric and engine-driven equipment and verify peak performance.
• Assemble electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental.
• Test and calibrate machines, inspect returned equipment, and complete preventive maintenance.
• Order and organize parts, using shop equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Complete repair documentation and provide occasional on-site support and customer guidance.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Valid driver license and good driving record.
• Careful, thorough approach to technical work and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, work with trusted autonomy, and stay aligned with branch goals.

Nice to have

• 0–1 years of related technical experience; early-career candidates and career changers are welcome.
• Working knowledge of power-generating and welding equipment.
• Equipment repair and maintenance training.
