Electrical Engineer III (IoT)

Location: Hybrid in Bothell, Washington, United States; up to 10% domestic and international travel required.

Salary: USD $115,000–$135,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and validate electrical, electronic, and embedded systems for new products and product enhancements.
• Develop analog, digital, power distribution, sensor, control, and communication circuitry.
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, technical documentation, test methods, and validation protocols.
• Perform circuit simulation, prototyping, system integration, functional testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Support regulatory compliance, product certification, manufacturing, design-for-manufacturing, and design-for-assembly activities.
• Lead engineering projects, participate in design reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of electrical engineering experience, including leading projects from concept through commercialization.
• Advanced knowledge of analog and digital circuit design for high-volume consumer electronics, plus understanding of power electronics and control systems.
• Experience with microprocessors, embedded systems, firmware interaction, product validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools such as Altium Designer or equivalent, and familiarity with engineering analysis and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, EMI/EMC mitigation, DFMEA/PFMEA, reliability analysis, and applicable safety and regulatory standards.
