Electrical Engineer IV (E4)

Salary: $147,000–$202,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead the electrical architecture, design, integration, and validation of complex electromechanical systems.
• Define system requirements and design AC/DC power distribution, circuit protection, grounding, power sequencing, and control architectures.
• Develop schematics, block diagrams, I/O and wiring diagrams, interface documentation, electrical BOMs, and manufacturing release packages.
• Design cable assemblies, wire harnesses, connectors, and routing solutions with EMI/EMC, shielding, strain relief, serviceability, and manufacturing requirements.
• Develop interfaces for sensors, actuators, motion control systems, EtherCAT devices, industrial Ethernet networks, safety controllers, and field I/O.
• Support prototype builds, integration and verification testing, commissioning, on-site troubleshooting, supplier qualification, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7–10 years of related experience.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting electrical or electronic assemblies, power distribution, controls, networking, and field devices.
• Ability to use oscilloscopes, DMMs, power analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of applicable NEC, NFPA 79, SEMI, UL, and CE standards and codes.
