Coating Operator - Nights

Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA; onsite night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM. Overtime is required as needed.

Starting pay: $25.09 per hour plus a $2 per hour night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Operate and set up coating line equipment, including unwinds, dies, and winders.
• Complete machine changeovers and monitor process conditions against quality specifications.
• Identify process abnormalities, perform daily preventive maintenance, and work with maintenance teams to reduce downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, root-cause problem solving, and quality compliance.
• Act as a backup Team Leader, support peer training, and promote a safe team environment.
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, SOPs, and technical guidelines.
• Experience with manufacturing software or systems; MFG Pro experience is preferred.
• Dependability, flexibility, and a safety-first mindset.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening is required.
