Machine Operator - Coating (Manufacturing)

Location: Painesville, Ohio, USA; full-time on-site work. Hiring for B and C shifts and 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Starting hiring rate: $25.09/hour plus a $2/hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain complex coating and production machinery.
• Inspect products before shipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action investigations for critical quality issues.
• Develop quality control plans for new products and processes with engineering and production teams.
• Analyze production data and quality metrics using statistical process control and other quality tools.
• Train employees, participate in problem-solving teams, and implement improvements to quality, productivity, and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for up to 80% of the shift.
• Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license.
• Availability for overtime, including short-notice requests, and assigned shifts.
• Computer proficiency, dependable work habits, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work safely with hazardous materials and in environments with varying temperatures.
