Instrumentation and Electrical Technician - Hiring Bonus $10K

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite at the plant and distribution terminal

Salary: $53.07–$63.48 per hour, plus a $10K hiring bonus

What you will do

• Install, maintain, calibrate, inspect, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Maintain analyzers, transmitters, control valves, pressure and temperature instruments, and process instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, motor starters, motors, transformers, UPS systems, switchgear, and industrial control systems.
• Test and validate critical safety systems and maintain high-voltage and low-voltage electrical equipment.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment history in SAP and computerized maintenance systems.
• Support outages, turnaround activities, major maintenance projects, and safe coordination with operations, engineering, contractors, and customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in plant maintenance, instrumentation, electrical, controls, manufacturing, chemical processing, utilities, or a similar industrial environment.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, analyzers, VFDs, and motor controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and instrument loop drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights when required.
