Electrical Mechanical Specialist (Manufacturing)

Pay range: $38.95–$46.65 per hour

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical production systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment.
• Rebuild and calibrate electromechanical devices, instruments, and controls.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design or adapt equipment for changing production requirements.
• Plan maintenance work, minimize equipment downtime, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with team members and leaders to support safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Meet one of the required education and experience combinations: completed TPC curriculum plus 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience; an approved technical associate degree or certificate in an electrical/electronic discipline plus 3+ years of relevant experience; or 7+ years of industrial electrical experience in a skilled trade.
• Formal training in AC/DC circuits and basic PLC functionality.
• Experience with instrumentation, controls, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical/hydraulic schematics and use measuring tools and tolerances.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, machine tools, and machinery installation and repair; knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and NFPA 70E safety practices.
• Proficient English reading, writing, and speaking; reliable attendance, own trade tools, basic math, and computer skills are required.
