Senior Instrumentation Technician

Location: Vacaville, California, United States; fully site-based. Day shift: 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. or night shift: 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.

Salary: $61,500–$102,500 gross annual base salary, plus a performance-related bonus.

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and modify process-control instruments, analyzers, laboratory equipment, and utility systems.
• Program, configure, and support PLCs, DCS, and smart instrumentation while maintaining accurate technical documentation.
• Read and apply P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical drawings for maintenance, upgrades, and system improvements.
• Execute work in accordance with cGMP, SOPs, safety regulations, and documentation standards, completing work orders on time and right first time.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Technology, and Validation teams to optimize instruments, resolve process issues, and support startup activities.
• Analyze technical equipment data, support spare-parts procurement and inventory management, and train and mentor technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong understanding of industrial process maintenance and systems.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and calibration management programs; SAP experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations.
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is preferred.
