Agricultural Motor Machinery Assessor (Agricultural Machinery)

Location: Tamworth, NSW or Dubbo, NSW, Australia. Remote-based role with flexibility and regional travel required.

What you will do

• Assess damage to light and heavy agricultural vehicles and machinery.
• Recommend best-practice repair methods aligned with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate repairs and work with repairers, suppliers, and clients in person and through phone or digital channels.
• Source and negotiate replacement parts and support fair, cost-effective claims outcomes.
• Deliver customer service in line with claims service standards and business objectives.
• Maintain accurate assessments, documentation, and records in IT systems.

Requirements

• Relevant mechanical trade qualification and licence.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery and farm equipment.
• Experience with repair methods and settlement types; claims assessing experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication, negotiation, planning, time management, and digital literacy skills.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to travel regionally and adapt to changing priorities.
