Staff Validation Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Validate DDR memory buffer products from post-silicon characterization through customer mass production.
• Develop silicon validation plans, establish validation environments, execute tests, and prepare validation reports.
• Investigate product quality issues, identify bugs for the design team, and drive fixes and product improvements.
• Collaborate with design, software, and global engineering teams during product development and bug resolution.
• Support customer issues by providing feasible technical solutions and clear feedback.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience and a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience in silicon electrical characterization, especially high-speed signal measurement, analysis, and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of DDR3, DDR4, DDR5, or SerDes protocols, electrical features, testing, and applications.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, automated test programming, and data processing.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, BERTs, network analyzers, logic analyzers, DC power supplies, and SMUs.
• Good written and oral English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DIMM RCD, data buffers, I2C, or I3C.
• Experience with board-level high-speed circuit design.
