Senior Vice President, Commercial Banker

Location: San Francisco, CA; may require up to 50% travel.

Salary: $191,835–$236,971 annually for Pleasanton, CA; eligibility for annual bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock may apply.

What you will do

• Identify target markets and develop a new book of mid-market commercial banking business.
• Build and maintain customer relationships involving commercial loans, business checking, deposits, and treasury-related products.
• Underwrite complex financing requests, analyze borrower financial conditions and risk, and negotiate loan terms.
• Prepare financing requests for senior management or the Loan Committee and coordinate approved loan processing.
• Gather customer information, maintain relationship records, and resolve loan servicing and documentation issues.
• Represent the bank in community and civic activities while supporting its market position.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial banking products, deposit operations, loan administration, and treasury management.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory, legal, and industry compliance requirements.
• Advanced relationship management, organizational, time management, speaking, and writing skills.
