TL;DR
Diesel Technician A (Heavy-Duty Trucks): Repairing and maintaining diesel and non-diesel trucks and fleet equipment, including engines, braking systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, suspension, drivetrains, and steering, with an accent on complex multi-system diagnostics. Focus on diagnosing aftertreatment and emissions systems, using scan tools, performing line maintenance, and completing welding and fabrication work.

What you will do
- Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks and fleet equipment.
- Diagnose and repair chassis, refuse body, hydraulic, electrical, braking, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems.
- Perform engine repair, diesel fuel system diagnostics, and aftertreatment and REGEN system diagnostics.
- Diagnose electrical issues using electronic tools and scan equipment.
- Perform heating and air conditioning diagnostics and repairs.
- Complete line maintenance, welding, fabrication, and required company training.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
- Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate strong technical expertise.
- Ability to independently inspect and repair several heavy-truck or automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, drivetrains, suspensions, steering, or diesel emissions.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice to have
- ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8.
- LNG or CNG experience.
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License; CDL B preferred.
