Installation Technician 1

What you will do

• Inspect, install, repair, and maintain customer equipment in the field.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver service that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Operate service vehicles, truck-based cranes, forklifts, welders, torches, and power and hand tools.
• Complete service tickets, timesheets, job tracking forms, and safety analysis documentation using handheld devices or paper forms.
• Follow company, customer, DOT, and worksite safety requirements.
• As skills develop, guide and train less experienced service technicians through complex field problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to five years of experience repairing and servicing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT medical examination.
• Compliance with applicable driver qualification standards is required at all times.
• Ability to read safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating instructions, maintenance documents, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports, communicate effectively with customers and employees, perform basic calculations, and solve standardized problems.
