Senior Project Manager (Federal and State Mandates)

Location: Hybrid role based in or within commuting distance of hirify.global offices in Norfolk, Virginia; Chicago, Illinois; or Hanover, Maryland.

Salary: $92,080–$151,932 annually for candidates working in Illinois, Maryland, or Virginia.

What you will do

• Develop project strategies aligned with federal and state mandates.
• Lead planning, execution, implementation, closure, and warranty periods for complex projects.
• Define project scope, requirements, resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations affecting Medicaid, Medicare, commercial businesses, project scope, and deliverables.
• Coordinate schedules, implementation plans, service-level agreements, and contractual arrangements with vendors and global resource firms.
• Coach and mentor project team members and other project managers.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of professional project management experience, including at least 3 years leading and directing project tasks.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex projects affecting multiple lines of business.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet.
• Ability to work from within commuting distance of an hirify.global office in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal and state regulatory compliance projects for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial businesses.
• PMP or PgMP certification.
• Knowledge of government contracting and regulatory processes.
