Accounts Payable Representative

What you will do

• Record amounts due, verify supplier invoices, calculate discounts, code expenses, prepare vouchers, and issue checks.
• Track information and data required to process payments and obtain payment authorization.
• Process supplier invoices using optical character recognition (OCR) software.
• Review supplier statements and resolve invoices placed on hold by coordinating with departments and suppliers.
• Create accounts payable and management reports.
• Provide guidance and assistance to less experienced accounts payable team members.

Requirements

• At least 3–4 years of accounts payable experience.
• High school graduation.
• Required proficiency in Excel and experience with OCR applications and Oracle.
• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience teaching and guiding other team members.
• Ability to complete projects by deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
