Senior Maintenance Technician (Facilities)

Location: Andover, MA, US 01810; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $55,000–$72,000 per year, plus an additional 12.5% shift differential for working the 2nd shift.

What you will do

• Inspect equipment, machinery, and building systems to identify issues early.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair motors, pumps, lighting, control systems, and other equipment malfunctions.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage.
• Support equipment installations, facility upgrades, inventory management, and coordination with contractors and vendors.

Requirements

• Prior experience in facility, industrial, or equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, lift, climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and work indoors or outdoors; on-call or emergency repair work may be required.

Nice to have

• Technical certification in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or a related field.
