Customer Service Representative (Insurance)

Location: Lansing, Michigan, United States; initial training in person with the option to work from home up to 3 days per week after training

What you will do

• Communicate with customers and associates at all levels.
• Review and answer basic customer inquiries after completing training.
• Make computer inquiries and entries related to customer accounts.
• Research customer problems, collect relevant information, and identify solutions.
• Document customer requests and assist agents with basic tasks.
• Prioritize assignments, protect confidential information, and complete work according to the assigned schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute with 85% accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and work occasional or seasonal overtime.
• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Must maintain punctual attendance at a company-approved work location.
