Claims Customer Care Representative

Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan headquarters, United States; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Set up new claims for all lines of business in the claims system.
• Accurately enter loss information according to claim guidelines.
• Electronically index documents into claim files.
• Answer claims call center calls, establish new losses, and route inquiries to the appropriate claims adjuster.
• Process medical bills, state forms, correspondence, and other claims department support requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of high-volume customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
• Ability to build positive relationships with internal departments, external customers, agents, policyholders, claimants, and providers.
• Strong organization, prioritization, multitasking, written and verbal communication, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to enter data accurately and meet deadlines.
