Lead Business Analyst, Technology (Compliance/Risk)

Location: Hybrid in the St. Petersburg, Florida corporate office, with an expectation to work onsite 3 days per week

What you will do

• Translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and actionable solution documentation.
• Lead requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, and implementation support for complex technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with developers, QA specialists, business stakeholders, and vendors to support successful delivery.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing, validate test cases, and confirm that solutions meet business expectations.
• Create process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and technical or user documentation.
• Support production issue triage and apply project management, change control, and issue-tracking practices.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of general professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer and Information Science, or a related field.
• Experience eliciting and documenting business requirements, influencing stakeholders, and building consensus across diverse teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis, testing support, issue triage, and communication between technical and business audiences.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Must work in the hybrid St. Petersburg, Florida office 3 days per week; work visa sponsorship is not available currently or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, TFS, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Visio, or Postman.
• Experience implementing legal, compliance, or risk-management software such as OpenPages, Business Continuity in the Cloud, or Everbridge 360.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT for documentation and productivity.
