Lead Engineer, Physical Security Technology & Modern Endpoint Platforms

Location: USA - NJ - Camden

Salary: $128,700-$177,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of enterprise physical security technology platforms.
• Design, implement, integrate, and support access control, video surveillance, visitor management, badging, alarm, and related security systems.
• Develop technical standards, reference architectures, documentation, runbooks, configuration baselines, and operational procedures.
• Partner with Corporate Security, Facilities, manufacturing sites, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Provide hands-on support for deployments, site expansions, upgrades, remediation, incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and service restoration.
• Serve as backup to the Lead Engineer, Modern Device Platforms, supporting endpoint and mobility roadmaps, prioritization, escalation, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, or supporting enterprise physical security technology solutions.
• Hands-on experience with physical access control, video surveillance, visitor management, badging, alarms, or related systems.
• Experience integrating solutions with networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, and service management platforms.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, or similar endpoint and mobility management solutions, including Windows, iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices.
• Experience with troubleshooting, incident response, root-cause analysis, technical documentation, vendor management, and technical leadership in complex enterprise environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Genetec, Symmetry, or similar enterprise access control and video surveillance platforms.
• Microsoft Intune Administrator Associate certification or a comparable endpoint management certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, endpoint security, Zero Trust, ConfigMgr, co-management, or cloud migration.
• PowerShell automation experience and knowledge of Active Directory, endpoint security controls, and modern workplace technologies.
• Experience leading large-scale physical security or cross-platform technology initiatives across corporate and manufacturing environments.
