Lead Systems Administrator – Endpoint Engineering

Location: Illinois, United States; hybrid

Salary: $117,000–$175,000 annually, plus an annual performance bonus and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve endpoint management capabilities for secure provisioning, configuration, compliance, and software delivery.
• Lead Intune optimization, Autopilot improvements, endpoint analytics, monitoring, health checks, and endpoint tooling lifecycle management.
• Implement endpoint security controls, hardening baselines, vulnerability remediation programs, and security tool integrations.
• Own zero-touch and low-touch provisioning workflows and coordinate endpoint changes with IT Operations, Security, and partner teams.
• Serve as a Tier 3/4 escalation point, lead root cause analysis, and implement durable fixes for complex endpoint incidents.
• Build automation, documentation, runbooks, and enablement materials to improve operational consistency and first-contact resolution.

Requirements

• Experience leading endpoint administration or engineering work in an enterprise environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoint policies, configurations, deployment workflows, and large-scale endpoint operations.
• Ability to document processes, develop operational standards, and proactively improve systems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across IT Operations and Security stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Illinois, United States.
