Application Engineer - Power Conversion Systems (Power Electronics)

What you will do

• Provide technical sales support to help customers successfully integrate power conversion products.
• Analyze customer businesses, systems, and product needs during pre-sales activities.
• Prepare and present technical proposals showing how products can be integrated with customer systems and equipment.
• Translate requirements such as efficiency, redundancy, grid interaction, and scalability into practical system designs.
• Present customer system and equipment requirements to internal teams and ensure plans meet cost, time, and environmental constraints.
• Partner with sales, product management, engineering, suppliers, and customers throughout the pre- and post-sales lifecycle.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated experience and strong working knowledge of power electronics.
• Ability to speak English and German.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, planning, time-management, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment with accountability and integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Nice to have

• Salesforce experience.
• Familiarity with rectifiers, power systems, or defense industry applications.
