HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman (HVAC)

Location: Arden, NC, United States; full-time on-site work with travel to job sites and occasional overnight stays.

What you will do

• Manage material, personnel, schedules, milestones, submittals, contract documents, and shop drawings for commercial mechanical construction projects.
• Lead crews installing ductwork and HVAC systems, including ATU, RTU, and split systems.
• Coordinate HVAC and piping installations with other trades, project managers, customers, and building officials.
• Inspect installations and assemblies for compliance with specifications, standards, and SMACNA requirements.
• Maintain safe, efficient site operations and enforce tool and safety policies.
• Complete daily reports, plans, accident reports, and other project documentation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a mechanical foreman on commercial HVAC construction projects.
• Significant experience fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment.
• Proficiency installing ductwork according to SMACNA standards and installing ATU, RTU, and split systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and detailed instructions.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed; reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Ability to travel to job sites, work independently, perform physical construction duties, and pass required background, drug, and fitness tests.

Nice to have

• Master or Journeyman HVAC Tradesman Certification.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification.
