What you will do

• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for associated HVAC systems and air handling unit filtration systems.
• Perform ductwork, water piping, insulation, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
• Handle refrigerants through brazing, soldering, evacuation, recovery, and charging.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and on time while maintaining safe, clean, and productive work areas.
• Collaborate with managers and supervisors to keep systems in peak operating condition.
• Mentor and support students while maintaining service quality and accountability standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Four years of professional experience with HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Certification or registration as an HVAC technician and universal ARI certification.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical safety, tubing, pipe fittings, rotating machinery, basic plumbing, flammable gases, and refrigeration gases.
• Ability to read schematic diagrams and work safely in cramped spaces, on ladders or lifts, and in environments with fumes, odors, noise, and all-weather conditions.
• Ability to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation.
