Industrial Mechanic (Manufacturing)

Location: 3459 Rue de Vulcain, Lévis, Quebec, Canada; onsite, evening shift Monday to Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, alignments, and servicing on conveyors, grinders, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and equipment failures.
• Inspect equipment for wear and repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Test repaired equipment to verify performance and compliance with standards.
• Assist with troubleshooting, efficiency improvements, new equipment installations, and upgrades.
• Complete work orders, report required actions and issues, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience maintaining, repairing, and adjusting industrial mechanical equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical breakdowns and perform repairs or component replacements.
• Ability to test repaired equipment and verify proper performance.
• Ability to collaborate on troubleshooting and equipment efficiency improvements.
• Knowledge of safe work practices, workplace cleanliness, and health and safety regulations.
