Operational Risk Specialist (Designated Person PCF39B) - Dublin or Limerick

Location: Dublin or Limerick, Ireland. Applicants must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application and throughout employment. Employment permit sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day operational risk processes, including business resilience.
• Act as the Designated Person for Operational Risk Management, subject to Central Bank of Ireland approval.
• Report to boards and regulators and manage regulatory communications.
• Own the Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite Statement.
• Monitor risk appetite and deliver ICAAP risk assessments.
• Oversee third-party operational risk and participate in cross-functional governance committees.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in risk management within asset management or another regulated business.
• Detailed knowledge of asset management businesses, particularly EU and UK regulated entities.
• Qualifications and experience supporting the PCF39B Designated Person for Operational Risk Management role.
• Knowledge of relevant CBI, ESMA, and UCITS regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex situations to different audiences.
• Existing right to work in Ireland is required; employment permit sponsorship is unavailable.
