Senior Risk Manager (Reinsurance)

Location: Dublin, Ireland or Singapore; hybrid role

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 annually for US-based positions

What you will do

• Coordinate and lead Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities across business units and jurisdictions.
• Maintain risk and control registers, contribute to risk policy updates, and monitor risk appetite.
• Collect internal loss data and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to identify emerging vulnerabilities.
• Recommend and implement improvements to operational risk frameworks and data collection tools.
• Partner with branch senior management on risk oversight and provide guidance on risk taxonomy and control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of risk management experience in the insurance or reinsurance market.
• Experience with European, Bermudan, or Singaporean regulated entities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Solvency II, MAS, CBI, BMA, or equivalent risk management regulations.
• Proficiency with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate workgroups, and interact with senior management or regulators.

Nice to have

• Relevant professional designation such as CERA, IRM, PRM, or FRM.
• Exposure to senior management or regulator interaction.
