What you will do

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team responsible for investment guideline implementation and governance.
• Interpret and implement complex client mandates, investment restrictions, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers and Trading teams on guideline interpretation and investment-related matters.
• Collaborate with Client Servicing, Legal, Product, Portfolio Compliance, and Operations teams to operationalize investment discretion and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee compliance rule implementation and governance within the proprietary ACE platform, including complex client restrictions and UCITS requirements.
• Drive automation, process improvements, scalability, and best practices across the guidelines function.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in investment compliance, portfolio compliance, trade compliance, investment operations, investment risk, or a related asset management function.
• Experience interpreting, implementing, monitoring, or overseeing investment guidelines, restrictions, and client mandates in an investment management environment.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and investment management regulations, including UCITS and/or AIFMD.
• Experience working with Portfolio Managers, Trading, Legal, Compliance, and client-facing teams on complex guideline, regulatory, or investment matters.
• Previous people management, leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, Sentinel, or similar compliance monitoring platforms.
• Experience with fixed income, multi-asset, derivatives, or alternative investment strategies.
• Exposure to compliance rule implementation, automation, process improvement, SQL, Python, Bloomberg, or business intelligence tools.
• CFA, CAIA, MBA, or another relevant industry qualification.
• Additional European language skills, particularly German.
