Import Accounting Analyst (Import Accounting)

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; full-time onsite role

Salary: MXN 22,000–26,000 per month

What you will do

• Record, track, and reconcile import documentation against accounting records.
• Review and validate invoices, including duties, freight, broker fees, and other import costs.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Logistics teams and external vendors to resolve quantity, cost, and timing discrepancies.
• Support month-end close activities, accruals, reconciliations, and inventory valuation.
• Prepare cost, variance, and trend reports and support internal and external audits.
• Identify improvements for import accounting processes, controls, documentation, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least two years of accounting experience, preferably involving import accounting, logistics, supply chain, or landed costs.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles related to inventory, accruals, and cost allocation.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle, SAP, or similar experience is preferred.
• Advanced written and verbal English proficiency required.
